Like a fledgling bird
trying out its fragile wings,
I feel the gentle lift
​of poetry's sweet breeze.

This colorful collection of poems evokes a sense of calm, laughter, tears, and reflection; some intended to be read with ease, while others in slow contemplation. Written in unabashed rhyme*, these splattered moments in time, paint highlights and shadows of life connections - reminders of our human condition.

*Personal note:  There are a couple exceptions.
